Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1 NLT
Friend, what do you say when your prayers are not visible to others yet? What do you do when after a season of prayers, knowing you have been heard you look around for the results but things still appear the same?
You have asked for the things you have seen through your eyes of faith; things you have dreamt of and things you’ve have spoken so faithfully about; you have told everyone you know about it: you have said to them that God through Christ Jesus has healed you of that medical condition but you still feel a pain in your body, you have said to them that you have been perfected through the blood of Jesus Christ but you are reminded of your frailties truly you are human; you have said to them your marriage is growing strong and you are at peace in all your relationships but you find that emotions get in the way sometimes; you have told everyone that your debts have been cancelled but each morning you go out to work—yes, you too must pay your way through this life.
Do you change your words of faith? Do you make an excuse and, in fear, say to others around you “well I was just trying this thing called faith out”? Do you retreat to despondency when others give you that look of derision and scorn, as they ponder in their minds your new found state of delusion? No brother, no sister, what you do is you hold on, you have arrived at a crucial place, a spacious place on your way to victory: do not turn back again to unbelief do not pack your bags. No not yet! What you prayed for you received in your spirit man and through patient endurance you bring it to reality. You will give birth to the irrefutable proofs of faith which God through Christ Jesus has seeded into your heart.
Beloved, answer to your prayer is your irrefutable proof. You see, Jesus prayed to God concerning his resurrection to life and received the answer in his spirit and that answer was manifested again in reality. God’s word says concerning Jesus: While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God (Hebrews 5:7 NLT). Again here is what the bible says about Daniel, according to the book of Daniel 10, Daniel had being praying for weeks looking to God faithfully for an answer, waiting for the results then after three weeks he lifted up eyes and he saw a man who came and touched him and said: Do not be afraid Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before God, your request had been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. (Daniel 10:12 NLT). Daniel received the answer the first day, and in like manner you have the answer in your spirit, it is in seed form but it is real and alive nonetheless. You are healed, perfected and cleared of all debt in your spirit man. Praise God! Remember, God’s word says in the book of 1 John 5:14-15 NLT: And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
Listen, I am not asking you to do something that’s unfounded in God’s word. I am asking you to do what Christ Jesus himself did when he was here in the world. Jesus, when he was on earth spoke prayerfully about his dreams. His dreams of doing God’s will and obtaining eternal life for all humanity. He kept on saying it even when no one understood him, no one believed him—not his enemies and not even his disciples. He prayed about his death, burial and resurrection even when his own flesh failed him; Jesus held on and looked forward to the day of his glorification (Matthew 16:13-23, John 12:23-28 NLT).
Beloved, when you think this way and conduct your life in this way, you show the world the hope in you. Yes the tangible hope of God in you and the evidence of your faith: the evidence of Christ in you, Praise Jesus. This is why the bible says, now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things unseen (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV). Hallelujah! In your spirit is the irrefutable proof of the unseen God, Jesus is his name.
Say this with me: I have in me irrefutable faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ! The Lord Jesus is alive in me! I have what I say in the name of Jesus. I am tireless, inexhaustible, unquenchable in my faith toward God. I all my needs are met, I have the answer to my prayer through Christ Jesus. I am healed, I am perfected, I am at peace, my debts have been cancelled by the blood of Jesus Christ! I am making good progress in my marriage, making good progress in my finances, making good progress in my Job. Praise God!
Friend, keep your faith up, keep it up by keeping your faithful words flowing in spite of how things look. Remember, when you believed, you yourself became an irrefutable proof of God’s love and grace. Not everyone believes this but you did. Hold up your faith, it does not matter what others say, you are a child of the living God. Now, I know that as you do this you will win in life: you will win in your health, you will win in your relationships, and win in your financial affairs through Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen.
